Get Involved - Your Community, Your Way
We offer a range of ways to get involved, depending on your interests and availability:
Share your views:
- Take part in surveys and consultations
- Provide feedback on services and activities
- Suggest ideas to improve the community
Join resident groups:
We are setting up resident groups to give you a stronger voice in decisions, including:
- Community meetings
- Steering groups
- Themed groups (e.g. events, environment, safety)
Become a Community Champion
Community Champions are residents who want to take a more active role. You could:
- Help share information locally
- Support events and activities
- Act as a link between residents and the TMO
You can choose how involved you want to be.
Take Part in Community Activities
Residents can get involved in a wide range of activities that bring people together and strengthen the community, including:
- Family & Social Activities – opportunities to meet others and enjoy time together
- Seasonal & Community Celebrations – events throughout the year
- Workshops & Skills Activities – chances to learn something new
- Community Projects – activities that improve the local area
- Drop-ins & Engagement Sessions – informal ways to share ideas
